Blizzard, the makers of World of Warcraft, opened up a contest for the best original song, and there were to be 3 winners who would all receive prizes. I entered Pally Pete and placed 3rd. They made the announcement at Blizzard's massive annual conference, BlizzCon 2009. It was such a rush to see my name up there on the screen of the main stage. Then they started playing my song. I love this game, and I love the whole community surrounding it, so what an amazing honor to be recognized in this way. Music is my first passion, but being able to combine my love for this game and passion for music was such a great experience. And hey, I get a cool graphics card out of the deal too!
