Three new songs

by JonOfTheShred, posted 08/31/09 19:23:28   New Song

Three new songs up: some salsa, a rap beat with funky bass, and a short film score-esque piece

Mystical Illusions, recorded yesterday. Salsa influenced, spacey jams

Hills of Fire, recorded within the last month. A sad beat with a bumpin' bass line

The Infected Part 3, one of three short songs created for a Left 4 Dead mod. Film score vibe

The latest song I uploaded felt rushed...

...so I added 3 minutes to the outro solo. I also threw a bit more orchestra in there to fill the sound out, too. Hope it sounds film score-esque.

Also uploaded three more songs: Isolation, The Dance of Treachery, and New Jersey.

New Song

I just uploaded a new song....

....called "Two More for the Road." It's supposed to have a movie-score vibe, particularly the scene right after the mentor dies, you know, when the protagonist is either rallying his allies for the final battle or when he's down in the dumps and his lady is trying to inspire him with wisdom. That particular moment in a movie.

NEW SONG!

by JonOfTheShred, posted 01/15/09 18:59:28   Two new songs

I recorded a new song yesterday over a generic chord progression I used to make fun of Punk Rock years ago with.

The old song was called Pranksta, so the irony of this one being gansta is...well it isn't really that crazy at all, but it kinda rhymes. ;) For now I'm calling this song "All Outta TP."

Anyways, I also have another song, its another rap but instead of being moodily triumphant its funky and danceable. Two very different sounding rap tunes, both with their own kind of attitude. Although theres more going on instrumentally in All Outta TP, GTFO (this other song) isn't just a loop, theres actually a few parts in there.
